Location: New York
Our client, a global large-cap private equity fund, is currently looking to hire an Associate Director / Director to join its New York-based Investment Services team. The firm, which currently holds a global investment portfolio across multiple strategies, has performed extremely well over the past few years and has made a number of impressive exits while increasing its AUM through new investment product lines.
Whatthe job involves
As the Investment Services – Associate Director / Director, you will immediately be afforded plenty of responsibility, partnering with the deal teams closely on execution, ongoing deal management, and fund management of the firm’s US deals. You will act as a crucial link between the investment and centralised team functions, reporting into the Global Head of Investment Services while leading a small US-based team.
- Serve as the senior contact to deal teams for US deal execution
- Lead coordination across tax, legal, regulatory and operational workflows
- Ensure compliance with fund LPA and frameworks
- Facilitate communication between US deal teams and EU fund management
- Develop region-specific processes to optimise operations
- Maintain governance of investment structures
- Lead relationships with relevant external service providers
- Previous experience within private equity investment operations or similar investment management firms
- Proven experience of coordinating with front office investment teams
- Understanding of the full investment life cycle
- Team management experience would be advantageous
- Familiar with US and European tax, risk, and compliance processes
- Proven experience with performance and operational reporting
- VISA sponsorship on offer
- The base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000
