This position is based in Aksia’s New York office and will offer significant responsibility and visibility across the investment process and will involve regular interaction with investment professionals, clients, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain portfolio monitoring frameworks, including leverage analysis, covenant tracking, watch lists, and risk reporting.
Investment & Deal Analytics

  • Oversee weekly deal pipeline processes, including opportunity tracking, status reporting, and preparation of investment screening materials.
  • Develop and maintain comparable transaction and market terms databases to support underwriting and investment committee discussions.
  • Produce portfolio analytics and attribution reporting, including performance drivers, deployment trends, and exposure analysis.
Reporting & Product Support
  • Support quarterly portfolio reviews, client reporting, and investment committee materials.
  • Coordinate data validation and quality control processes across portfolio reporting and marketing materials.
  • Assist with new fund launches, strategic initiatives, capital raising efforts and related documentation efforts.
  • Contribute to market commentary, portfolio updates, and investment content for clients and prospects.
Data & Process Management
  • Serve as a key steward of portfolio data integrity across investment, reporting, and operational systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows, portfolio analytics, and data management processes.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving investment teams, investor relations, operations, and technology groups.
Qualifications
  • 2–8 years of experience in private markets, leveraged finance, investment management, or a related analytical role
  • Strong quantitative capabilities, with the ability to synthesize investment, portfolio, and market data into actionable insights
  • High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets and ensure data integrity across multiple systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple concurrent work streams
  • Highly motivated, self‑directed team player with a strong work ethic and ownership mindset
  • Interest in private markets and a desire to build long‑term expertise in private credit portfolio construction and analytics
