Job Description

The Credit Officer role requires a comprehensive skill set to effectively execute broad risk management responsibilities within Corporate & Financial Institutions Credit Risk. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the Global Banking & Markets product spectrum, driving speed to market and asset quality, assessing credit worthiness of prospective borrowers and trading counter parties, managing a complex, high‑volume portfolio, providing high quality credit approvals, structuring transactions and negotiating documentation, establishing internal risk ratings, and managing relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.

• Responsible for all aspects of credit risk management of municipal banking and markets counter parties and issuers.
• Manage a high‑volume, fast‑paced portfolio using a risk‑based approach to support revenue generation while adhering to established credit risk standards.
• Partner closely with Global Markets stakeholders, including Trading, Structuring, Sales, and internal support functions.
• Evaluate and support transactions within a dynamic capital markets and trading environment, requiring strong execution and prioritization skills.

• 5+ years of counter party credit risk management and due diligence experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.

• Experience with financial institutions or municipal counter parties.
