We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will review complex Federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and pass-through entities. Additionally, you will review gift tax returns, quarterly and year‑end tax projections, and tax work papers. You will deliver clear requests for information directly to clients and research Federal, state, and cross‑border tax issues.
Key Responsibilities- Review complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non‑profit organizations, and pass‑through entities
- Review gift tax returns and tax projections
- Deliver clear requests for information to clients
- Research tax issues
- Strategize on tax planning with partners and client teams
- Mentor, train, and supervise staff
- Manage deadlines and client work
- Bill clients and collect outstanding receivables
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- CPA certification required
- 7+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
