VP – Global Asset Servicing

Our client, a traded global alternative asset manager, is seeking a VP, Global Asset Servicing to join their New York team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate processing and reconciliation of complex investment transactions to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. Known for its collaborative and dynamic culture, the Investment Operations team offers a supportive environment where innovation and excellence thrive.

This is a hybrid position!

• Coordinate daily reconciliation of security masters, positions, and cash with the Alternative Investment Solutions team.
• Identify and resolve data breaks or discrepancies in trades, holdings, and security master information.
• Support portfolio and risk management data needs by collaborating with investment operations and portfolio managers.
• Manage LP investments, subscription documents, and ad-hoc client data requests.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and elevate critical data issues to ensure accurate reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited university.
• 6 years of experience with reputable investment management firms, preferably in Alternative Credit or Insurance Asset Management.
• Experience in Investment Operations, including middle office, back office, or treasury functions.
• Familiarity with data management platforms such as Black Mountain (Allvue), Everest, Geneva, and/or IVP is a plus.
• Knowledge of various investment vehicles, including Institutional Separate Accounts, SMA/Limited Partnerships, Closed-End Funds, UCITs, CLOs, and complex fund structures.
