About the Team

The Finance Team collaborates as a strategic partner to all internal departments across Mammoth Brands. We sell our products around the world through multiple channels with on‑ground teams and offices in New York, the United Kingdom and Germany. As our revenue grows, we need an experienced tax professional to help build out and maintain all things tax.

About the Role

As our Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in developing an internal tax function and coordinate with 3rd‑party tax providers and financial statement auditors. You will be involved in all areas of tax across Mammoth Brands, including the quarterly and annual tax provision, indirect taxes, federal and state income tax returns, transfer pricing, entity set‑up, intercompany agreements and various audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of the finance team with the Director of Tax.
  • Assist with quarterly and year‑end tax provision and related journal entries in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Coordinate tax review and audit processes with external auditors.
  • Manage 3rd‑party tax providers ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop effective tax strategies to reduce future burdens.
  • Assist with transfer pricing, internal management fees, and intercompany agreements.
  • Maintain comprehensive list of required tax filings and review compliance prepared by 3rd‑party providers.
  • Research various tax topics, including federal, state, and international developments.
  • Consult internally on tax impact of new products, acquisitions, significant transactions.
  • Work cross‑functionally with other teams at Mammoth Brands and be a go‑to resource for tax matters.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2‑4 years of experience at a public accounting firm and/or a multinational public company corporate tax department or high‑growth start‑up.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax and/or indirect tax matters.
  • Experience developing and executing tax planning and risk reduction strategies.
  • Familiarity with implementing internal controls.
  • Exposure to and understanding of international tax regulations is a plus.
  • CPA and a Masters in Tax is a plus.
  • Track record of successful team collaboration.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sense of humor is a plus.
