Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

Join a global team building a best-in‑class fixed income investment platform for the world's top Private Bank as a Senior Associate. JPMorgan Asset & Wealth Management, with $2.8 trillion in client assets, is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high‑net‑worth individuals, and retail investors across major markets.

The Manager Solutions team researches, selects, and monitors asset managers used across Global Wealth Management investment programs. This Senior Associate will focus on fixed income funds, ETFs, and separate accounts, playing a key role in manager research, investment underwriting, and ongoing monitoring. The position serves as the main point of contact with external asset managers and directly influences investment committee recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, select, and monitor fixed‑income investment managers, evaluating investment process, team, philosophy, and performance.
  • Present recommendations to the investment committee and other internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct manager due diligence meetings, preparing focused agendas, identifying inconsistencies between stated process and portfolio positioning, and producing clear, committee‑ready meeting notes and recommendation memos.
  • Proactively source new investment opportunities within relevant universes, assessing how potential additions complement or overlap with existing allocations.
  • Partner with portfolio managers, strategy, and asset‑class leaders to ensure manager recommendations align with broader platform objectives.
  • Communicate investment processes clearly to internal stakeholders, clients, and external managers.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of hands‑on investment experience within asset or wealth management, credit research, investment consulting, manager research at an institutional allocator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge or interest in fixed‑income markets.
  • Superior writing and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and precisely.
  • Critical thinking and constructive skepticism, comfortable pushing past marketing narratives and flagging risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to represent the Private Bank externally in manager meetings and across internal teams.
  • Quantitative competence, able to translate data into actionable investment conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep familiarity with at least one fixed‑income sector (municipals, securitized, high‑yield, leveraged loans) and background in fixed‑income research, credit research, or portfolio management.
  • CFA or CAIA designation, or demonstrated progress toward completion.
Benefits & Compensation

Competitive total rewards package including base salary, commission‑based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation in cash and/or forfeitable equity. Benefits include comprehensive health care coverage, on‑site health and wellness centers, retirement savings plan, backup childcare, tuition reimbursement, mental health support, financial coaching, and additional programs. Detailed compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
