We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as SVP, Mutual Fund & Discretionary Portfolio Management Specialist based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’ll act as the internal product expert for investment products, lead marketing programs, and drive revenue and asset‑under‑management targets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage investment products including mutual funds, alternative investments (private equity, real estate, hedge funds), and discretionary portfolios managed by CIM.
• Educate bankers and investment counselors to increase product knowledge and proficiency. Act as product expert and develop marketing programs to drive sales.
• Develop and manage pipeline for new business opportunities. Support after‑sales servicing and coordinate with banker teams to reach revenue and AUM targets.
• Analyze current and historical market conditions, communicate complex technical details clearly, and influence a wide range of CPB personnel to recommend suitable investment products.
• Assist private bankers and investment counselors in evaluating client profiles in terms of return expectation, risk appetite, time horizon, and liquidity needs.
• Attend client meetings with bankers and participate in presentations and sales pitches as needed.
• Serve as liaison with Global Investment Research, Due Diligence teams, and private bankers. Identify product gaps or opportunities and recommend alternatives.
• Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policy. Escalate and report control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience working with investment products.
• FINRA Licensed Series 7 and 63/66.
• Prior private banking experience.
• Background in discretionary investment offering preferred.
• Sales and relationship management skills with a track record of building successful relationships with external clients and internal partners.
• Experience delivering high‑quality service to complex individual or corporate clients.
• Self‑starter with creative problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred; fluency in Cantonese is beneficial.

Education:

• Bachelor's or University degree;
  Master’s degree preferred.
