Summer Investments Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our Investments Team for an 8‑week program in our New York, New York office. This role will support our portfolio managers and analysts in all facets of the investment process, focusing primarily on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Asset Backed Securities (ABS).

• Assist in building financial models
• Conduct research on macroeconomic trends, credit market performance, or anything impacting the alternative credit space
• Collect, organize, and analyze datasets related to portfolio holdings, collateral performance, or manager selection
• Help monitor existing portfolio performance, track key risk metrics, and prepare internal reports for the investment committee
• Prepare investment memos, tear sheets, and presentation materials for internal meetings and potential external client discussions

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a quantitative field
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred)
• Demonstrated understanding of fundamental financial concepts
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred

• Prior internship experience in asset management, investment banking, or a related financial services role

• Direct mentorship from senior investment professionals
• Exposure to proprietary investment strategies and real‑time market action

Salary: 85k/yearly prorated for 8 week internship duration
