ING’s Wholesale Banking division offers a broad range of innovative financial products and services to domestic and international corporate and institutional clients.
About the DepartmentTransaction Services ("TS") is part of ING’s Wholesale Banking division and operates globally with daily banking related products such as Working Capital Solutions, Trade Finance Solutions, Payments & Cash Management, and Liquidity Management Solutions including cash pooling and virtual cash management.
About the PositionING is looking for a Vice President, Transaction Services Trade to lead and expand relationships with multi‑national U.S. corporate clients and prospects, focusing on the complete suite of ING corporate banking and treasury products across our international network, with a natural focus on European treasury solutions.
Responsibilities- Drive new business by pitching to prospects.
- Expand network business by deepening existing relationships.
- Drive TS cross‑sell by spotting opportunities.
- Manage all internal stakeholders across the network.
- Manage the TS relationship as a trusted Payments and Cash Management consultant, proactively providing advice on the latest market developments.
- Own the TS P&L, growing the business.
- Negotiate and close TS deals as deal captain.
- Coordinate responses to RFPs.
- Own product implementations, providing optimal solutions to our clients.
- BS or MS degree; MS preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience with treasury products.
- Track record in origination of transactions and client onboarding.
- Relevant deal team and transaction execution experience.
- Strong understanding of products, business drivers and product capabilities.
- Demonstrated consultative selling, origination and pitching skills.
- Customer focus with strong business acumen, drive and achievement motivation.
- Self‑starter with proactive and creative mindset, able to build‑out local TS platform.
- Solid analytical, judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative working style, effective team player.
- Salary range: $153,000‑$193,000 (base salary only).
