Location:

New York City, NY (Hybrid: 4 Days On-site / Fridays Remote)

Duration: 8 Weeks (June – Mid-August)

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Our Corporate Partner is the world’s largest buyer of biopharmaceutical royalties and a leading funder of innovation across the industry. They collaborate with everyone from academic institutions to global pharma leaders, managing a portfolio of over 35 commercial products to fund the future of medicine.

The goal of this program is to educate the intern on how to think like a Life Sciences investor. You will be immersed in the investment decision process, learning how to evaluate the commercial potential of cutting-edge therapies.

• Market Intelligence:
  Participate in weekly pipeline meetings and research different disease areas and relevant biotech companies.
• Investment Analysis:
  Listen in on the decision-making process for new funding opportunities.
• Quantitative Tools:
  Receive training in professional Excel modeling for financial analysis.
• Capstone Project:
  Complete a final assignment reflecting the commercial potential of a specific investment opportunity.

• Education:
  
  STEM major;
  Rising Sophomore or above. Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Skills:
  
  No previous finance experience required; must demonstrate a genuine interest in the intersection of science and investment.
• Requirements:
  Must be a Pell Grant Recipient for the current academic year.
