Senior Analyst, HUD Multi Family Underwriter

Commercial real estate finance platform seeking a Senior Analyst to support HUD multifamily underwriting, analyze property-level financials, and assist in executing FHA/HUD and bridge loan transactions.

A leading commercial real estate finance platform specializing in FHA/HUD multifamily lending, bridge financing, and structured real estate debt solutions across stabilized and new construction properties.

• Assist senior underwriters in evaluating and executing FHA/HUD multifamily financing transactions, including new construction, bridge loans, and refinancing.
• Review third-party reports such as appraisals, market studies, environmental reports, and engineering assessments, providing detailed analysis and comments.
• Spread and analyze property-level financials in Excel underwriting models.
• Support preparation of underwriting narratives, mortgage credit reports, and loan submission materials for credit committee review.
• Communicate with FHA/HUD representatives, clients, and external consultants in a professional capacity.
• Assist in assembling complete loan packages and support the execution process through closing and servicing coordination.

• Experience in commercial real estate lending, underwriting, investment banking, or a related real estate finance role.
• Prior experience with multifamily underwriting or FHA/HUD MAP guidelines strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and real estate cash flow analysis.
• Ability to interpret and synthesize complex third-party reports into clear underwriting conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
