Surgery Scheduler PRN

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is a leading medical school and part of NYU Langone Health.

This role is an onsite position. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will support general ledger activities for the Medical Center, including the annual budgeting process, monthly reporting, and analysis and forecasting. They will create executive-quality management presentations, dashboards and metrics, identify and drive business analysis, provide decision‑support analysis to facilitate informed management decisions, and generate valuable insights and transparency around all areas of the business.

Additionally, they will build and enhance processes and controls across finance and related accounting systems, ensure accuracy of financial results and consistency with corporate and business‑unit accounting policies, and identify and communicate risks and opportunities.

• Create monthly P&L per division
• Variance analysis
• Submit MSS transactions, JVs, cost transfers
• Create monthly discretionary fund analysis and forecasts
• Create annual budget reports; work in the budget system (Hyperion), analyze budget targets

• Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
• Support the preparation of monthly and year‑end financial statements
• Understand all financial and operational issues and potential impacts

• Strong analytical skills
• Accounting degree
• Grant portfolio management experience

• Certified Public Accountant

• CPA
• Accounting or Finance degree

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range in compliance with New York state law on salary transparency. The salary range for this role is $63,935.04 – $ annually.
