Associate, Insurance Strategy and M&A

Strategic insurance and corporate development team seeking an Associate to evaluate M&A, reinsurance, and capital solutions opportunities while supporting long-term growth initiatives across the platform.

A leading global alternative asset manager with a large-scale insurance platform focused on strategic growth initiatives, M&A, reinsurance, and long-term capital solutions across the insurance and retirement markets.

• Support the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic transactions across the insurance platform.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models related to M&A, reinsurance, and capital solutions opportunities.
• Conduct industry and competitive research across insurance, retirement, and reinsurance markets.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and materials for senior leadership and investment committees.
• Partner with internal teams on strategic initiatives, business line expansion opportunities, and operational projects.
• Support due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and regulatory analysis.

• Experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related financial role.
• FIG or insurance coverage experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skillset with M&A transaction experience.
• Demonstrated interest in insurance, reinsurance, and long-term asset management businesses.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to senior stakeholders.
