This position offers the opportunity to help manage a dynamic multi‑billion dollar corporate and leveraged finance portfolio across various verticals. You will work closely with sponsor coverage teams, industry specific sector teams, risk management, and portfolio analytics.

• Support senior bankers in managing a large portfolio of pro rata and senior secured loans primarily to sub‑investment grade clients.
• Assist deal team in preparation of borrower analytics including financial updates, financial modeling, credit approval packages, market comparables and quarterly reporting statements.
• Perform ongoing portfolio management for selected accounts—monitoring credit performance, executing amendment requests, maintaining collateral files.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
• Handle internal system processing and KYC/CDD data gathering and processing as needed.
• Review legal documentation and assist in timely closing and funding of waivers, amendments and upsized commitments.
• Collaborate with Origination, Risk Management, Compliance and Loan Operations teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics with excellent results.
• Advanced degree and/or CFA is a plus.
• Experience working for a US regulated bank and familiarity with all aspects of Fed/OCC requirements.
• Prior credit training and solid understanding of cash‑flow financing transactions.
• 2–3 years leveraged finance experience considered for Associate.
• Formal credit training is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of accounting statements and principles.
• Corporate finance background – financial market experience required.
• Understanding of debt structuring and ability to make recommendations.
• Basic understanding of legal documentation.
• Three‑statement financial modeling skills required.
• Strong communication skills – writing sample required.
• Strong credit analysis skills.
• Highly detailed orientation and self‑motivated with ability to manage competing demands.
• Collaborative and deadline‑driven work style.

$155,000 – $175,000 (base salary only). Eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus program.
