Citigroup’s Non-Agency Residential Mortgage Transaction Management Group, a unit within Global Spread Products, is seeking an Analyst to join its existing team. The broader business trades Residential Loans, provides debt facilities, securitization and advisory services to institutional clients and handles non‑agency assets including seasoned performing, re‑performing, and non‑performing loans, new origination prime and near‑prime loans, HELOC and closed‑end second mortgages, mortgage servicing rights, small balance commercial (SB) loans and single-family rental (SFR) and I‑Buyer assets.
The Analyst will gain exposure to data analytics, due diligence, both pre- and post-settlement activities, and contract negotiations, and will support the trading and banking functions within the overall business. The Analyst will interact with Citi’s top clients and will be introduced to the fixed‑income securities markets, offering an excellent opportunity for building a long-term career in the residential mortgage market.
QualificationsApplicants should be recent graduates with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and must be willing to work in a demanding transaction‑oriented environment. They should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities.
EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree. Applicants should be recent graduates, preferably with an academic specialization in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
