A leading investment firm or middle-market bank may seek an Investment Analytics Analyst to support portfolio analysis, quantitative modeling, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making. These roles are ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for interpreting financial and market data to inform strategic investment decisions.

Build and maintain quantitative and financial models to support investment decisions (portfolio analytics, risk assessment, performance attribution)

Conduct data analysis, benchmarking, and industry research to support investment strategies

Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal teams and client-facing deliverables

Assist in the development of predictive models and investment algorithms

Monitor market trends, portfolio performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and data management

Support due diligence efforts with data collection, cleaning, and analysis

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline

Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other data analytics tools

Experience with financial data platforms (Bloomberg, Fact Set, Capital IQ, etc.) is preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment analytics, banking, consulting, asset management, or similar fields is beneficial

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
