This is an exceptional opportunity for a Vice President, Loan Operations to lead within a dynamic lending environment. You will take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of principal finance transactions, managing the complete lifecycle from pre acquisition through to divestment, including draft stage, financial close, onboarding and full loan servicing.
More about this role- Partner directly with the principal investing deal team and key external service providers to support a large, well connected investing business across private credit, private equity and real estate product lines
- Lead and develop a team of approximately three professionals
- Drive end to end transaction management for a varied investment portfolio spanning real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, media, entertainment, technology, leisure and healthcare
- Hold approval authority for loan administration activities within LoanIQ and related systems
- Oversee transaction closing, ongoing administration and stakeholder coordination
- Advise on and coordinate approvals across internal and external parties
- Implement and refine procedures to ensure effective day to day portfolio management
- Maintain data integrity across loan management and peripheral systems
- Foster staff engagement, development and daily management
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in loans middle office or loan operations, with a track record of end to end delivery for bilateral and syndicated deals
- Expertise in reviewing, interpreting and providing opinions on credit agreements and legal documentation, supported by a strong grasp of financial, accounting and valuation principles
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, including deal teams, legal, credit, finance, IT and other internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex data sets, with advanced Excel and presentation capabilities
- A bachelor's degree as a minimum qualification
This role offers the opportunity to lead high value, complex transactions, shape operational best practices and develop a team within a respected lending function. The compensation package includes a base salary of $160,000 to $200,000 per year (dependent on experience), a discretionary annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
