Position:
Transaction/Portfolio Management in Asset Finance at a mid-size foreign bank

Summary:

This person will work with Lending Product Specialists, Relationship Managers, and Clients to manage and monitor new and existing transactions. As part of the Transaction Management team, the Specialist will support the Asset Finance Team by managing operational responsibilities related to the existing Asset Finance portfolio and facilitating the execution of new transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Transaction Management function within Asset Finance.
  • Support Transaction Management across other Product areas and locations as required.
  • Collaborate with Lending Product Teams and participate in initial structuring discussions related to trade capture, control, reporting, and support subsequent approval processes.
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and presenting management information (MI) for senior management.
  • Ensure accurate reflection of Asset Finance Americas revenues, costs, and capital charges in the team’s management accounts.
  • Update and refine relevant processes and procedures; continuously improve workflows within the team and support ad hoc projects.
  • Address daily inquiries from team members by providing information and advice, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.

    • Qualifications:

    • University degree or similar; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Accounting or Banking.
    • Strong leadership skills demonstrated in previous roles.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
