A confidential and growing financial services organization is seeking a Vice President, Capital Markets to support the structuring, analysis, and execution of sophisticated debt transactions and credit products.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on credit structuring, debt financing, financial modeling, and capital markets execution within a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in credit products, structured debt, modeling, and capital markets transactions
, combined with the ability to evaluate risk, structure deals, and support strategic financing initiatives.
This role is ideal for candidates coming from investment banking, structured finance, private credit, debt capital markets (DCM), structured products, or capital markets teams.
What You Will Do- Support the structuring and execution of complex debt transactions and credit facilities
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate financing opportunities, capital structures, pricing, and portfolio performance
- Analyze and structure credit products, debt instruments, and financing solutions
- Partner with internal stakeholders on financing strategies, deal structuring, and transaction execution
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to:
- Structured finance transactions
- Cash flow modeling
- Prepare investment and transaction materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Support negotiations and execution with lenders, financing partners, institutional investors, and counter parties
- Monitor market trends, credit conditions, and capital markets developments
- Contribute to strategic initiatives related to portfolio growth, financing optimization, and capital deployment
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Capital Markets
- Structured Finance
- Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
- Structured Credit
- Private Credit
- Investment Banking
- Specialty Finance
- Credit Investments
- Fixed Income or related financial services experience
- Strong knowledge of credit products and debt structuring
- Advanced experience building and analyzing financial models
- Strong understanding of:
- Credit risk
- Structured products
- Cash flow analysis
- Capital structures
- Fixed income and financing transactions
- Demonstrated experience supporting or executing sophisticated financing transactions
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following preferred disciplines:
- Statistics or related quantitative field
Advanced degrees and/or relevant designations are considered an asset.
