Portfolio Implementation - Junior​/Associate - Asset Manager

We are representing a premier global investment manager seeking an analytical, detail-oriented critical thinker to join their Portfolio Implementation team in New York, helping in the management of active equity and multi-asset class investment strategies,

This is an execution, optimization, and system automation focused role, offering meaningful exposure to the day-to-day investment process of multiple strategy types.

• Portfolio Execution & Oversight

  Manage the day-to-day implementation of investment portfolios, ensuring that live execution perfectly aligns with both investor-directed mandates and internal risk guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate the launch of new strategies, funds, and separately managed accounts by collaborating across a broad range of internal teams, including trading, technology, strategy/research.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Collaborate with quantitative researchers to solve complex problems related to trading workflows and portfolio optimization. You will analyze the impact of proposed changes to portfolio models and handle bespoke analytical projects.
• Process Automation: Continuously improve, streamline, and automate the systems and processes involved in daily portfolio management activities. You will be encouraged to experiment with generative AI tools and utilize Python to handle complex data computations.

• 1-4 years of related experience in a portfolio implementation, portfolio management, trade support, investment operations, strategy or analytics capacity.
• A bachelor’s or advanced degree in an analytical or finance discipline.
• Proficiency in Python programming is required.

• Compensation: Base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, complemented by a substantial year-end discretionary bonus structure, and a premium corporate benefits package.
