Job Description
This role will be responsible for supporting statutory reporting, intercompany accounting, and consolidation activities for multiple countries/entities.
The Accountant will work closely with the Corporate Finance team, internal RTR team, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. This position reports directly to the RTR Manager and works alongside with other accountants within the RTR organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support statutory reporting activities, including preparation of financial statements, schedules, and audit support for assigned countries/entities
- Coordinate with all stakeholders ensuring intercompany balances are fully reconciled and tie out at month end
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidation processes and reporting requirements
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and resolve reconciling items promptly
- Assist in preparation of management reports, reporting schedules, and variance analysis
- Work closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and local finance teams to support reporting and close activities.
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and reporting accuracy
- Support ERP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CPA, MIA, ICAEW or equivalent
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, consolidation, intercompany accounting, or RTR functions
Knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles; exposure to US GAAP is a plus
Experience handling multi-country/entity reporting and consolidation preferred
ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
