Budget Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Budget Manager to oversee the organization’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. This individual will partner with leadership to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide strategic insights that support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across multiple departments
  • Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and long‑range financial plans
  • Monitor budget‑to‑actual performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure budgets align with organizational goals
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend cost‑saving initiatives
  • Support cash flow forecasting and expense management activities
  • Establish and improve budgeting processes, controls, and reporting procedures
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes as needed
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of budgeting, financial planning, or corporate finance experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting principles, financial analysis, and forecasting methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (such as Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA designation preferred
  • Experience partnering with cross‑functional leadership teams
  • Background in multi‑entity or multi‑department budgeting environments
