We are a growing New York-based real estate and hospitality company that owns and operates residential buildings, manages third‑party properties, and operates boutique hotels. Our team oversees finance, operations, accounting, and asset management across multiple business lines.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a full‑time Financial Operations Associate to join our Finance & Operations Department. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytical, trustworthy, and enjoys working with numbers. You will work directly with leadership and gain exposure to real estate, property management, hospitality, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process and track accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
- Maintain financial records and spreadsheets.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate rent collections and payment processing.
- Support property management and hotel operations.
- Respond to internal and external operational inquiries.
- Assist tenants, guests, vendors, and team members with general questions and requests.
- Coordinate and follow up on operational projects and company initiatives.
- Track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Identify discrepancies and improve operational processes.
- Assist with special projects across the company's portfolio.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to support day‑to‑day business operations.
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred, but not required).
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, property management, or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset and positive attitude.
- Three professional references required.
- Available to start immediately or within 30 days.
