HR Controlling Manager — Payroll, Budgets & Analytics

Summary

As HR Controlling Manager for the HR Regional Hub you will lead payroll controlling, budgeting, and headcount reporting for LVMH Fashion Group Americas. You will manage payroll actuals, develop strategic budgets, consolidate data across Maisons and countries, and provide clear analysis and commentary on variances. The role partners with HR and Finance stakeholders and oversees the HR Finance Analyst to ensure accurate reporting and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll actuals, postings, accruals, and consolidation by company, department, and account.
• Prepare and deliver payroll cost reporting and headcount reports to local teams and Maison HQs with commentary on major drivers and variances.
• Develop payroll budgets and strategic plans in partnership with brand leaders, HRBPs, and Finance teams.
• Maintain and support reporting tools and templates to increase automation and reduce errors.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, variance bridges, presentation decks, and compliance reports; validate work performed by the HR Finance Analyst.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR controlling, finance, or similar functions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large datasets and multiple budget iterations.
• Ability to cross-reference data from multiple systems, explain drivers, and present findings to HR and Finance stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential data, and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Experience coaching or developing direct reports and familiarity with HR processes and systems is a plus.
