Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

Most investment firms spend years trying to grow from $9B to $40B in assets.

This team did it in a single year.

Over the same period, headcount more than tripled as the business continued to scale, creating a rare opportunity to join a firm that's already managing tens of billions while still operating with the speed, ownership, and influence of a much smaller organization.

This is an opportunity to join a quant firm in the middle of that evolution.

Rather than sitting in a purely operational seat, you'll be embedded in the investment process; working alongside portfolio managers and senior investors to help turn ideas into implemented portfolios. You'll gain exposure to how capital is allocated, how investment decisions are translated into trades, and how a rapidly growing platform continues to scale without sacrificing efficiency. The team is looking for someone who enjoys solving problems at the intersection of markets, data, technology, and portfolio management.

There is a strong emphasis on ownership, process improvement, and finding smarter ways to do things as the business continues to expand.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Supporting the day-to-day implementation of investment decisions
  • Improving workflows through automation and technology
  • Helping ensure portfolios are positioned as intended
  • Working across investment, operations, and client-facing teams
  • Contributing to the systems and processes that allow the platform to scale
Background They're Interested In
  • 2-4 years of experience in investing, quantitative finance, trading, analytics, or a similarly rigorous environment
  • Strong Python skills and an interest in building tools that improve decision-making
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy
  • Comfortable working with data and quantitative concepts
  • Someone who enjoys taking ownership rather than simply executing tasks
Why People Are Interested
  • AUM increased from approximately $9B to $40B+ in the last year
  • Team size has more than tripled during the same period
  • Direct exposure to senior decision-makers and investors
  • Lean environment where strong work is highly visible
  • Modern technology stack with significant room to build and improve processes
  • Opportunity to join the next phase of growth
