  • Manage and coach a small but growing team (including Senior-level talent), providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development.
  • Oversee execution of all regulatory compliance processes tied to finance operations, including wagering/gaming tax, customer tax reporting & withholding (Forms 1099, 1042, W-2G), and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of compliance deliverables by reviewing work papers, models, and submissions prepared by your team.
  • Serve as primary liaison with regulators and external partners on operational compliance matters, escalating issues to the Sr Manager as needed.
  • Drive process improvements and scalable solutions across compliance workflows, leveraging digital tooling across automation, AI, and data analytics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Advisory, Product, Tech) to ensure compliance is embedded into new initiatives, product launches, and regulatory responses.
  • Own business controls related to compliance within the SOX control environment, ensuring documentation, testing, and audit readiness.
  • Support strategic initiatives led by the Sr Manager and Finance leadership, including regulator relationship strategies and executive-level work streams.
