Location: New York

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Salary: Up to $125,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a global bank to recruit a Credit Administration AVP to join their Middle Office, Credit Administration team.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between front office teams, loan administration, and other internal stakeholders, providing technical expertise and operational support across the full lifecycle of credit facilities. Your ability to interpret complex credit agreements, manage time‑sensitive funding requirements, and drive process improvements will be critical in delivering a seamless and compliant service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Oversee the processing of new, renewed, amended, and restructured loan credit facilities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with credit agreements and banking procedures.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Conduct detailed reviews of credit agreements to identify pricing terms, transaction structures, and operational details, ensuring these are accurately reflected in systems such as ACBS and Loan IQ

  • Operational Support: Create, review, and maintain operational documentation and ensure all facility management processes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, providing guidance on open issues, pending transactions, and operational queries related to credit administration.
  • Reporting and Process Improvement: Generate and maintain reports for operations management, senior leadership, and other divisions as required. Participate in audits, business continuity efforts, and special projects.
  • Team Leadership: Support and mentor junior staff, ensuring they perform daily functions related to facility booking and operational processes with accuracy and efficiency.
What We Look For
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in commercial loan operations, credit administration, or a related area within financial services.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong understanding of credit agreements, with the ability to interpret pricing, definitions, and transaction structures.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, leadership ability, and strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compliance Awareness: A basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements, with a commitment to adhering to internal policies and industry standards.
