We are building an AI-native heavy equipment rental business on the East Coast. By combining an established operating rental business with a proprietary technology platform focused on fleet optimization, predictive maintenance, dynamic pricing, and data-driven customer acquisition, we are scaling toward a multi-location regional network.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all financial operations for a capital-intensive, multi-location equipment rental business. This role will oversee capital strategy, equipment financing, budgeting, forecasting, and investor relations as the company expands.

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the organization
• Structure and manage equipment financing, debt facilities, and the overall capital strategy
• Support fundraising initiatives, investor reporting, and board presentations
• Build and strengthen accounting operations, financial controls, and reporting infrastructure
• Partner closely with executive leadership on unit economics, pricing strategies, and expansion decisions
• Develop financial models and strategic analyses to support business growth
• Monitor cash flow, capital expenditures, and financial performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements

• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably within asset-intensive, multi-location, real estate, rental, or related industries
• Hands‑on experience with equipment or asset financing, debt facilities, and capital raises
• Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial controls, and investor relations experience
• Exceptional analytical, strategic, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus
