Position OverviewEarly-Stage Venture Capital Analysts support investment sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence across seed, pre-seed, and early Series-stage opportunities. These roles focus on identifying emerging technologies, assessing founding teams, analyzing markets, and supporting investment decision-making. Analysts work closely with investment partners and often collaborate with founders, operators, and broader venture ecosystem participants.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities across technology-enabled sectors
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and landscape mapping for emerging industries
- Build financial, operating, and venture-style valuation models for early-stage companies
- Support due diligence efforts across team, product, customer, technology, and go-to-market strategy
- Analyze business models, unit economics, and growth drivers for startup companies
- Assist with investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees
- Track portfolio performance and support ongoing portfolio company analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Understanding of venture capital fundamentals, startup economics, and early-stage valuation concepts
- Experience in venture capital, startup operations, investment banking, consulting, or transaction advisory (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- High curiosity for technology, startups, markets, and emerging trends
