Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equity Swap Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in equity swaps and a strong background in SQL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our equity swap operations.

Responsibilities
  • Equity Swap Analysis:
    Conduct a thorough analysis of equity swap transactions, including trade lifecycle management, valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for equity swap products and processes.
  • System Enhancement:
    Work closely with IT teams to develop and enhance systems and tools for equity swap trading, settlement, and reporting.
  • Trade Support:
    Provide ongoing support for equity swap trades, including trade booking, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to equity swap trading and reporting.
  • Documentation:
    Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and compliance officers, to address business needs and concerns.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on equity swaps.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II is a plus
