Finance Manager - IFS SEA Penang, Malaysia
Are you passionate about leading regional finance operations and partnering with the business at a strategic level? We are looking for a SEA GBS Finance Manager to join us in Penang! You're responsible for financial governance, reporting oversight, cash flow management, and performance control across Southeast Asia (SEA), covering Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. This is a people manager role who will lead a team of 4 direct reports, including oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, and standardized processes across the region.
You'll also serve as the primary finance business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams within SEA and plays a key role in managing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), working capital, cost control, liquidity management, and regional financial performance initiatives.

We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a regional GBS or Finance Manager role.
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multi-country finance operations within Southeast Asia.
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and working capital management.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements and US GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Business One, etc.).
- Experience with One Stream, Hyperion, or similar consolidation tools.
- Treasury knowledge and cash management experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation capability.
- Ability to operate effectively in a multi-country, multicultural environment.
