VP of Shared Services FP&A

Our client is a global financial services firm. They seek a VP of Shared Services FP&A to join their Manhattan, NY office.

• Support Shared Services FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and cost center management
• Maintain allocation methodologies, supporting data, governance processes, and recurring management reporting
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, stronger controls, and process standardization
• Champion AI and automation initiatives through workflow redesign, reporting enhancements, template development, and prompt engineering
• Document finance processes, identify operational improvements, and prioritize scalable solutions
• Enhance executive reporting and management analytics by improving consistency, efficiency, and actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable process improvements across Shared Services
• Train users on new workflows, maintain process documentation, and support adoption of enhanced operating procedures

• 6-8 years of FP&A and corporate finance experience
• Experience in shared services, corporate functions, or back office finance
• Strong FP&A fundamentals: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, allocation logic, and management reporting
• Experience improving manual finance workflows using AI and automation, documenting processes, redesigning recurring deliverables, or implementing more scalable planning/reporting tools
