Location: New York
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Risk Team with day‑to‑day risk management activities under guidance from senior team members.
- Assist in the identification and documentation of financial and operational risk across Copper’s products, services and processes.
- Support financial risk monitoring activities, such as tracking exposures, limits and key risk indicators under supervision.
- Help prepare risk reporting and management information using Excel and other tools, including simple summaries and trackers.
- Support coordination with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Product, Technology) to gather information for risk reviews and assessment.
- Assist with the documentation of risk incidents and issues, including logging updates and following up on remediation actions.
- Help collect and organise information used in risk assessments, including inherent risk description, control mappings and action tracking.
- Currently in your second year at university or a year before graduation, completing a Risk Management, Business studies, Finance/Economics Degree or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable using Excel for simple data analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and documentation.
- Knowledge of the Fintech industry.
