Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Finance Leader to oversee capital planning, structured finance initiatives, debt transactions, and financial operations for a rapidly growing media and entertainment platform. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating, structuring, and securing financing solutions across a diverse portfolio of media assets, productions, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in corporate finance, credit analysis, debt structuring, capital markets, or private credit, coupled with the ability to operate in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. Exposure to film, television, digital media, content financing, or entertainment investments is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities Capital Markets & Debt Structuring- Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of debt financing transactions, including senior secured facilities, asset-backed lending, production financing, warehouse facilities, and structured credit solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, private credit funds, institutional lenders, family offices, and strategic financing partners.
- Evaluate optimal capital structures to support acquisitions, content investments, production financing, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Analyze financing alternatives and prepare recommendations for executive leadership and investors.
- Oversee lender reporting, covenant compliance, liquidity management, and financing documentation.
- Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, film slates, content libraries, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct financial due diligence and valuation analyses for new investments and business opportunities.
- Partner with executive leadership on capital allocation decisions and long-term financial strategy.
- Support M&A activities, including transaction structuring, financing strategy, and integration planning.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance analysis.
- Develop KPI reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership and investors.
- Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support rapid growth.
- Present financial analyses and strategic recommendations to senior executives, lenders, investors, and board members.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, structured finance, investment banking, private credit, leveraged finance, capital markets, private equity, or strategic finance.
- Demonstrated experience structuring and negotiating debt transactions and complex financing arrangements.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience interacting with lenders, investors, and executive leadership teams.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environments.
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced financial designation.
- Experience with in media, entertainment, film, television, content production, or intellectual property-driven businesses.
- Background in private equity, private credit, investment banking, specialty finance, or asset-backed lending.
- Familiarity with film financing, production financing, distribution economics, and media asset valuation.
- Experience supporting founder-led, private equity-backed, or rapidly scaling organizations.
