Position: Investment Operations Analyst (Middle Office)
Location: New York

A Financial Services Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Middle Office Operations Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Support operational activities across a diversified investment portfolio, ensuring the accurate processing and maintenance of transactions and investment records.
  • Monitor daily cash and position reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with custodians, administrators, counter parties, and other external service providers to support investment operations and settlement activities.
  • Assist with transaction processing, cash movements, investment activity tracking, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Review and maintain investment documentation, security master data, and portfolio information within internal systems.
  • Support portfolio accounting, operational reporting, and data management initiatives.
  • Assist with audit requests, regulatory reporting requirements, and internal control processes.
  • Partner with investment professionals and other internal stakeholders to support business initiatives and ad hoc projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external service providers and business partners.
  • Perform other duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience within investment operations, fund operations, middle office, accounting, or a related financial services environment.
  • Exposure to investment products and financial markets through prior professional experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with investment accounting, portfolio management, reconciliation, or operational systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms and investment operations tools is a plus.
