We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Senior Manager to lead the Ad Platform finance business partnering team within our FP&A organization. This role will serve as the financial lead for the T-Mobile Ad Platforms, overseeing a team of Finance Business Partners across the USA, EMEA, and APAC markets. The leader will build a consistent, scalable FP&A framework across geographies and business segments as these organizations continue their integration journey.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of Finance Business Partners supporting T‑Mobile Ad Platforms, ensuring consistent and scalable performance‑management deliverables.
- Oversee consolidated P&L management across all Ad Platform country and product P&Ls, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and month-end close.
- Align with the T-Ads consolidation FP&A Team on corporate deliverable inputs such as R&O management, forecasts, budgets and LRP’s.
- Partner with leaders across Business and Operations to align on metrics, assumptions, and strategic decision drivers.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reviews including spend analysis, KPI tracking, and insights for executive decision‑making, including presentation to executive leadership team members.
- Serve as senior review and approval point for trade deal structures; partner with Commercial Teams on complex deals, reviewing client profitability models, approving deal terms, and ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Own the KPI framework and performance measurement approach across the Ad Platform portfolio, ensuring consistency across all business partner reporting including take rates, media mix, customer trends, and market insights.
- Set the strategic pricing framework across Ad Platforms; own commercial approvals and lead pricing, revenue, and market expansion initiatives for relevant products and geographies.
- Provide governance oversight for quota planning and incentive compensation processes, partnering with P&L owners and Sales Leads to ensure data-driven quota setting across all markets.
- Partner with Ad Platform business leaders to align approval process for headcount management.
- Continue involvement and influence the integration milestones for Blis and Vistar operations, impacting FP&A people, systems, tools and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years in FP&A, preferably supporting Advertising, Media, or Marketing organizations.
- Proven experience leading geographically distributed finance teams.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate data-heavy insights into executive-ready narratives.
- Proven cross-functional collaborator in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Ability to scenario plan & align with multiple parties on optimal path forward related to people, process and systems.
- Experience with trade deal structuring, pricing frameworks or commercial finance in an advertising or media business.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to build reporting or measurement infrastructure, not merely maintain existing tools.
- Comfortable building structure from scratch and creating clarity out of chaos.
- Can operate at both the strategic "what should we measure?" level and the technical "how do we build it?" level.
- Detail-oriented with strong process management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident business partner who can influence without authority and drive alignment across teams.
- Must be comfortable working with teams based in other locations, including international (UK & Australia); some flexibility required to collaborate effectively across time zones.
