Position Overview

Senior Tax Associate – Warner Music Group

Reporting to the Tax Manager for US operations, the Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance for Warner Music Group’s global operations. The position provides a learning opportunity to develop expertise in US Federal and State taxation of Corporations and Partnerships within the music industry.

• Review US Federal and State Corporate Income Tax Returns and extensions.
• Review US Federal and State Partnership Income Tax Returns and extensions.
• Assist with ASC 740 Income Tax Provision calculations.
• Prepare estimated federal, state, and local income tax payments and arrange for quarterly tax payments.
• Prepare state apportionment calculations.
• Maintain tax compliance calendar to track timely reporting of all income tax returns.
• Assist with responses to tax audits.
• Provide additional assistance in various tax projects as needed.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting.
• 1–3 years of tax experience at a US-based multinational or major US accounting firm (Big 4 firms preferred).
• Proficiency in Onestream Tax Provision software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

• Master of Science in Taxation.
• Working knowledge of Alteryx data analytics software.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP software.

Location:

Onsite – Minimum of 4 days per week in the office.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
