Wind Engineering Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day management of programs including subledger reviews with program managers, approval of purchase orders and payment requests.
• Directly support the Wind Capital Allocation Leader manage all business cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across the organization.
• Lead month-end/quarter-end closing activities and management reporting.
• Track performance relative to budget and forecast, review actual results, and explain variances against budget and forecast.
• Build detailed financial models that track and analyze cost drivers and headcount allocation across engineering programs.
• Partner with Engineering Operations and Product Management to build standard assumptions for engineering investments across new programs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, execute implementation, and drive continuous improvement across people, process, and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or business management, from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a finance role.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and ability to link operational performance to financial impact.
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work with/influence cross-functional and executive leadership teams.
• Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and digital applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
