Assistant VP of Finance - Corporate - Healthcare

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a AssistantVP of Finance for the Corporate office of a Healthcare Organization located in the Bronx, NY. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, advanced degree of MBA or CPA, preferred. Candidates will have extensive Finance operations experience in a Health Care or Long Term Care environment including: day to day finance oversight & analytics, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Vice President of Finance will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This function reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; advanced degree (MBA or CPA) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and management role preferably in a health care/long term care setting. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights to senior management. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required. Experience managing a finance and accounting team, with a focus on talent development and team building.

Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Compensation: $150,000 min – $175,000, plus excellent benefits including PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, Retirement Plan & more!
