Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the use of tax insurance as a risk-transfer tool
- Analyze tax opinions, transaction structures, and technical tax issues
- Develop and execute placement strategies with tax insurance underwriters
- Manage the underwriting process from submission through policy binding
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage enhancements
- Develop and maintain relationships with private equity sponsors and investment banks
- Generate new business opportunities through networking
- Serve as a subject matter expert on tax insurance products
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in tax, transactional tax advisory, tax insurance, M&A advisory, law, or related disciplines
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal income tax concepts and transaction structures
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven business development capabilities and commercial acumen
