Responsibilities
- Mentor and manage a team of financial aid counselors
- Advise prospective and admitted students on financial aid applications
- Ensure compliance with Title IV and institutional policies
- Consult with various University offices to solve individual student issues
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years relevant professional level experience in financial aid or student affairs
- Familiarity with financial aid management systems (such as People Soft, Banner, PowerFAIDS)
- Knowledge of institutional financial aid need analysis and federal/state financial aid programs
- Ability to interpret and apply complex laws, policies and procedures
