Citigroup’s Non-Agency Residential Financing & Securitization Group ("Resi F&S"), a unit within Global Spread Products, is seeking to add an experienced and highly motivated Analyst to its existing team. The Resi F&S group provides debt facilities, securitization and advisory services to our institutional clients and touches non-agency assets including seasoned performing, re-performing and non-performing loans, new origination prime and near prime loans, HELOC and closed end second mortgages, mortgage servicing rights, credit risk transfer pools, small balance commercial (SBC) loans and single family rental (SFR) and I-Buyer assets.
Existing clients are well capitalized non-bank originators, hedge funds, private equity funds, the GSEs, servicers, single family operators, and REITs with expertise in originating, aggregating, and/or managing residential mortgage assets.
The candidate will gain exposure to analytics, diligence, banking, and trading functions within the overall business. Analysts will interact directly with mortgage trading and sales, structuring, syndication, the investment bank, and external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fixed income financial markets.

- Interact directly with mortgage trading and sales, structuring, syndication, the investment bank, and external clients.
- Support the Resi F&S group’s debt facilities, securitization, and advisory services to institutional clients.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a similar analyst or banking role.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science or closely related areas of Business Administration preferred.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- Series 79, 7 and 63 licenses.
