Product Strategy & Ownership
- Help develop the USD Clearing and Correspondent Banking product strategy, including domestic and cross border USD payment flows, nostro/vostro services, and liquidity management for global respondent banks.
- Define and manage multi‑year product roadmaps aligned to Bank of America’s Responsible Growth framework, balancing client value, risk discipline, and revenue growth.
- Support product modernization initiatives, including ISO 20022, CHIPS and Fedwire enhancements, internal platform modernization and enhancements and SWIFT CBPR+ interoperability.
- Act as a subject matter expert on USD clearing infrastructures, including CHIPS and Fedwire Funds Service, settlement models, CLS, liquidity optimization, cut‑off management, and exception handling.
- Expansive knowledge of rule‑based processing and exception handling.
- Partner with technology teams to translate clearing and correspondent banking requirements into scalable, resilient platforms.
- Ensure high availability, straight‑through processing, and operational scalability for high‑value, time‑critical USD payments.
- Lead product capabilities supporting global correspondent banking clients, including foreign financial institutions relying on Bank of America for USD access, clearing, and settlement.
- Drive enhancements in cross‑border payment transparency, speed, and data richness, leveraging SWIFT gpi, payment tracking, and enriched remittance information.
- Collaborate with regional partners across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM to ensure products meet local market, regulatory, and liquidity requirements.
- Own product P&L, pricing frameworks, and commercial models for USD clearing and correspondent banking services.
- Partner with Sales, Coverage, and Relationship Management teams to support client acquisition, retention, and wallet growth across Financial Institutions, Corporate, and Public Sector segments.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs to inform product investment and prioritization decisions.
- Ensure all products operate within Bank of America’s Global Financial Crimes, AML, sanctions, and operational risk frameworks, particularly given the elevated risk profile of correspondent banking.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to manage regulatory change, audits, and supervisory expectations related to USD clearing and cross‑border payments.
- Represent product in internal governance forums and external industry groups where appropriate.
- 5+ years of experience in transaction banking, payments, or financial market infrastructure, with deep USD clearing and correspondent banking expertise.
- Proven leadership in product management at a global bank, clearing institution, or financial market utility.
- Strong technical understanding of CHIPS, Fedwire, SWIFT, ISO 20022, nostro/vostro accounting, and cross‑border settlement mechanics.
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical depth with commercial judgment, influencing senior stakeholders across product, technology, operations, and risk.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated, global environment with complex client and jurisdictional requirements.

- Patient as internal negotiation/prioritization is required.
- Organized/detail oriented.
