Investment Operations Manager

Our client, located in New York, NY, is seeking a an Alternative Investment Operations Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in loan operations, investment operations, reconciliations, settlements, and operational process improvement.

• Support day-to-day investment operations, including data management, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Review, interpret, and process loan notices with a high degree of accuracy.
• Manage loan operations workflows, including trade capture, settlements, funding, and lifecycle event processing.
• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations while investigating and resolving exceptions.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders on strategic initiatives and operational enhancements.
• Assist with operational build-outs, workflow improvements, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Support projects across multiple credit investment strategies.
• Research and resolve operational discrepancies across systems and counter parties.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency and scalability.

• Experience supporting credit, loan, or investment operations within financial services.
• Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle and loan operations.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret loan notices.
• Hands-on experience with loan settlements, reconciliations, trade support, funding, and cash movements.
• Experience supporting complex credit investment strategies, including direct lending, structured finance, asset-backed lending, or similar products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
