** The Transaction Banking Portfolio Analyst:
Member of the Transaction Banking Portfolio Management team supporting analytics, reporting and portfolio insights to drive decision making across deposit products and balance sheet strategy. This role provides foundational analytical support to Product, Treasury, Finance and Sales teams, contributing to portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and business initiatives within Transaction Banking
** Major Responsibilities:
**** Portfolio Analytics & Reporting:
*** Support the preparation, development and delivery of recurring portfolio reporting covering performance metrics, customer behavior and profitability
* Assist in analyzing key financial indicators such as deposit balances, interest rates and margins
* Maintain data accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs
** Strategic Support & Insights:
*** Perform analytical support for portfolio strategy initiatives, including deposit growth and optimization efforts
* Assist in monitoring market and macroeconomic trends impacting portfolio performance
* Contribute to preparation of materials for senior management reporting
** Product & Business Partnership:
*** Partner with Product Management teams to support product performance tracking and analysis
* Provide analytical support to Sales and Relationship Managers to inform client strategy
* Assist with data gathering and analysis related to product development initiatives
* Collaborate with Treasury, Finance and other stakeholders to support reporting and analysist needs
** Financial & Balance Sheet Support:
*** Support forecasting activities related to portfolio balances and funding costs
* Assist in monitoring key performance metrics used to evaluate portfolio performance
* Provide support in tracking profitability and key financial drivers
** Background:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
* 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level roles in banking, finance or analytics preferred)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft products and data analysis
* Exposure to banking products, treasury services or financial markets
* Experience with financial or data analysis tools
* Progress toward professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CTP or similar)
The typical base pay range for this role is between $83K- $99K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
