Location: New York
A city service organization in New York is seeking volunteers for the VITA Program as Tax Preparers for the 2026 season. This role involves reviewing client documentation and preparing tax returns using IRS-approved software. Ideal candidates will possess basic computer skills and a strong work ethic, with Spanish fluency being highly desirable. Volunteers gain valuable financial skills, receive IRS certification, and can earn continuing education credits.
Weekly shifts of 4–6 hours are required from January to April 2026.
