Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Private Markets Growth Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—helping funds, sponsors, and portfolio companies scale across capital, strategy, and execution while benefiting from meaningful earning opportunities and enhanced credibility within a high-signal network.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Growth Mentors to support growth across private market strategies—spanning fundraising, portfolio expansion, and platform development.

This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Mentors:

Advise on fund growth strategy, capital expansion, and platform scaling

Support sponsors and portfolio companies on growth initiatives, capital planning, and value creation

Mentor analysts and deal scouts, strengthening growth-oriented investment thinking

Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for professionals who have driven growth within private market platforms, funds, or portfolio companies and can translate that experience into strategic guidance and mentorship.

Approved Private Markets Growth Mentors may:

Advise fund managers on fundraising strategy, LP engagement, and long-term platform growth

Support sponsors and portfolio companies with growth planning, capital allocation, and scaling initiatives

Mentor analysts and deal scouts on growth underwriting, value creation levers, and expansion strategy

Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insight, and performance optimization guidance

Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors, strategic partners, or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level growth strategy, capital planning, and mentorship, rather than day-to-day operations or transactional execution unless specifically approved.

Fund growth strategy, capital raising, and LP communications

Portfolio company growth, scaling initiatives, and value creation planning

Deal-level growth underwriting and investment committee support

Operational and strategic advisory for private market platforms

Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

Approval is granted based on experience, growth track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real-world scaling and capital expansion initiatives.

Mentors operate as independent contractors

Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, growth track record, and engagement scope

Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory contributions tied to growth outcomes or closed deals

Payments issued after completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact contributions

Submit a Mentor application detailing background, growth experience, and relevant deal exposure

Complete verification and category approval

Receive promotion within the Initio Sphere platform

Begin advising funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved growth engagements

This process ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Provide investment advice to the public

Solicit securities

Market investments outside approved channels

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentoring and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on strategic growth guidance, capital planning, and mentorship.

Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund professionals with growth and scaling experience

Operators or founders who have led expansion within private market-backed businesses

Senior advisors who can mentor analysts and scouts on growth-oriented investment strategy
