Position Overview
As a Summer Analyst in Product at Apollo Global Management, you will gain hands‑on experience in alternative asset management. The Client and Product Solutions (CPS) team leads marketing and fundraising for the firm’s equity, credit and real assets offerings. The product management team is chiefly responsible for developing and managing investment products and other strategic projects across the firm, including fundraising strategy, investor communications, and new product launches.
The internship is designed for individuals eager to learn about the alternative asset management business, develop client relationship and business strategy skills, and contribute to Apollo’s growth within a collaborative global team environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Build product and market knowledge; learn to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
- Draft client‑facing collateral, including fund and investor presentations, white papers, quarterly reports, annual meeting decks, conference presentations, and meeting decks.
- Partner with senior Product Specialists to prepare custom talking points and materials for investor meetings and conferences.
- Assist senior executives with strategic business projects and firm‑wide initiatives.
- Respond to investor inquiries and requests, such as ad‑hoc client questions, DDQs, data templates, and investment updates.
- Maintain investment and performance data, track investor pipeline details, and contribute to reporting deliverables.
- Support the development and distribution of marketing and investor communications with diverse stakeholders.
- Analyze large data sets to prepare tailored responses and compile regular reports.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing professionals to grow Apollo’s products.
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis to inform strategy and positioning.
- Work closely with investment professionals, sales, finance, compliance, and legal teams to deepen understanding of alternative asset classes, fund structures, and investor objectives.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Pursuing a BA or BS (Class of 2027) in finance, business, economics, or a related field from an undergraduate institution with a record of strong academic achievement.
- Strong interest in the financial industry, particularly alternative asset management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team‑oriented with a positive attitude.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and convey complex financial concepts.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Eager to learn, with a strong work ethic; exercising integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in all responsibilities.
Pay Range: $90,000–$100,000. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and firm performance. Interns will be based in New York City, with potential full‑time roles offered in New York City, El Segundo, or Miami.
