Director - CIB Credit - Power & Renewables, TD Securities

Job Summary

Senior credit analyst focusing on the Power & Renewables industry within TD Securities’ Corporate & Investment Banking credit team. The role is responsible for preparing detailed credit submissions, managing deal‑team workflow, ensuring rigorous credit review and risk assessment, and overseeing borrower performance.

• Prepare high‑quality credit submissions for new and existing clients, detailing risks, mitigants, and financial performance.
• Manage deal‑team workflow and train junior analysts.
• Ensure credit reviews include risk‑rating assessment, leveraged‑lending analysis (when applicable), and detailed projections and sensitivities.
• Conduct market, industry, and client research to support risk assessment.
• Review loan and security documentation to reflect credit authorization accurately.
• Oversee and monitor borrower performance to ensure compliance, and prepare High‑Risk Reports as required.
• Work closely with Investment Banking and other product groups to provide a holistic view of the transaction.
• Demonstrate governance, control, and risk‑management behaviors in alignment with TD policies.
• Participate in project working groups and/or internal and external committees (e.g., industry reviews, internal risk policies).
• Identify and coordinate cross‑sell opportunities with other business units/product groups.

• 9–10 years of related experience in credit analysis or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
• Series 79, Series 63, or SIE certification.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated leadership qualities.
